Charlie is our second domestic rescue! He's a soft, sweet boy who is gentle, friendly and easy going, often watching all the animals go about their day from whatever comfy spot he has chosen for the day.

He doesn't play much, but loves company and to sit on the bench near our caravan, waiting for someone to sit with him and have a natter. He'll even occasionally give you a couple of gentle chirps in response!

Our little Charlie Bear came to us after no one else would take him in due his FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  

FIV can make cats quite poorly (which comes with expensive vet bills) which means Charlie needs special care. It's contagious between cats, with the most transmission between cats happening from bites. Because of this, we had to quarantine Charlie for a couple of weeks so the other cats at the sanctuary could get used to his presence to prevent any fights from breaking out.
