SHEEP
As our number of animals continues to grow we now have dedicated pages for some of the different species.
Our first 10 sheep arrived at Hakuna Matata on the 3rd December 2023, shortly followed by 5 more from the same place. since then we have gone onto have our first tiny lamb who we named Gus, followed by three more little lambs all of which needed bottle feeding round the clock.

The first 15 sheep came to us as part of a big rescue project involving several other rescue's / sanctuaries around the country. Aren't they all beautiful.
Sadly one of them has since passed away but they will all live out their lives here now as permanent residents at the Sanctuary.
SHEEP
Even amongst the sheep that came from the same premises, there are a variety of breeds.
They are all beautiful creatures and they all have their own individual characters.
